NEW YORK, N.Y. – A trio of Villanova Wildcats were recognized by the BIG EAST Conference Sunday for their excellence during the 2018-19 regular season, which ended Saturday.

Senior guard
Phil Booth (Baltimore, Md.) and senior forward
Eric Paschall (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) were unanimous first team All-BIG EAST selections as the conference rolled out its honors list. In addition, freshman forward
Saddiq Bey (Largo, Md.) was named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman team.

Booth led the Wildcats in scoring during the regular season at 18.6 points per game. He also added 3.9 rebounds per contest.

Paschall averaged 16.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest while starting all 31 games for the Wildcats.

Bey made 24 appearances in the starting lineup for the Wildcats and finished fourth on the squad in scoring at 8.4 points per game. The 6-8 rookie also added 5.2 rebounds per outing and averaged 29.4 minutes per contest.

The Wildcats (22-9 overall, 13-5 BIG EAST) open play at the 2019 BIG EAST Tournament presented by Jeep on Thursday in a quarterfinal game against the winner of Wednesday's meeting between No. 8 Providence and No. 9 Butler. That game tips off at noon and airs on FS1 and 610 ESPN Radio.
