Whittier, Ca. – Villanova Water Polo fell to Whittier 13-7 on Monday night.
Whittier got the first four goals of the game and the Wildcats were never able to come back from the deficit. It was a 7-5 game but that is as close as Villanova would get.
The first five goals of the second half were scored by Whittier that would put the game out of reach.
Kate Stenmoen led Villanova with two goals.
Maria Breen,
Charlotte Curran,
Kate Murray,
Kaysie Stuba, and
Isabel Herbst all added a goal for Villanova.
The Wildcats will be right back in action Wednesday night against San Diego State. The game will be at 6:00 PM and live stats will be available via The Fosh.
