San Diego, Calif. – Villanova Water Polo dropped a tough one to San Diego State Wednesday night by a score of 14-2.
San Diego State came out and scored the first five goals of the game.
Isabel Herbst was able to get Villanova on the board with 5:34 left in the second quarter.
The Aztecs would then rally off seven straight to make it a 12-1 game.
Kaysie Stuba scored another goal for the Wildcats, but could not come any closer.
Rachel Jennings started the game and allowed seven goals and had four saves.
Gaby Palmisano also received playing time and allowed seven goals with three saves and a steal.
The next time Villanova will be in action will be Saturday, March 9
th. This will mark the opening of MAAC competition when they take on Siena at 12:00 P.M. and Iona at 6:00 P.M.
