Villanova, Pa. – The Wildcats dropped the first game to Wagner 18-6 and then fell to Marist 13-4.
Wagner
Wagner jumped out to an early 6-2 lead after the first quarter, and would only expand on it from there. They went up 11-4 at half and then would score the first four goals of the third.
Kate Murray scored two goals for the Wildcats and
Charlotte Curran,
Kate Stenmoen,
Kaysie Stuba, and
Camille Oswald would all add one.
Marist
In the final regular season game of the season, the Wildcats fell to the Red Foxes.
Marist jumped out to an 11-1 lead and it was too much for Villanova to overcome.
Malia Gacutan scored two goals while Stenmoen and
Amanda Rice both scored as well.
Wagner won the regular season title and Marist qualified second in the MAAC Tournament. Both teams will be in action on April 27
th.
