CAMDEN, N.J. – The Villanova rowing team is ready to go for the CAA Championship tomorrow Sunday, May 19 on the Cooper River in Camden, New Jersey. The Wildcats will be competing against Delaware, Drexel, Eastern Michigan and defending champion Northeastern.
Head coach Carissa Adams, "The team is in good spirits heading into tomorrow and we feel poised and ready to put out the strongest team effort possible. We are heading into this race all pulling for one another. Four Villanova boats, one Nova Nation coming together. Our goal is simple, finish strong."
Due to the flooding, the Wildcats spent the week training in Pennsauken, New Jersey on the Cooper River. Despite not being on their home course, they had a productive week of training.
