The 12-game 2019 Villanova football season will kickoff on Saturday, August 24, when the Wildcats travel to Hamilton, N.Y., to take on Colgate at noon. Villanova will play two night games in 2019 with the first being the home opener versus Lehigh on Sept 7 with a 6 p.m., start time.
Villanova will also play a night game in the CAA opener when the Wildcats travel to Towson on Sept. 21 for a 6 p.m., kickoff. The other seven conference contests include home dates versus Maine (Sept. 28, 3:30 p.m.), Stony Brook (Oct. 26, 3:30 p.m.), Richmond (Nov. 9, 1 p.m.) and Delaware (Nov. 23, 1 p.m.). In addition to the game at Towson, Villanova will also play three other league road games, including William & Mary (Oct. 5, 3:30 p.m.), James Madison (Oct. 12, 1:30 p.m.) and New Hampshire (Nov. 2, 1 p.m.).
The team's other two non conference contests will be a road game at Bucknell on Sept. 14 and a home date with Long Island on Nov. 16 at 2 p.m.
The 2019 Villanova Football season will be sponsored by Independence Blue Cross.
