Harry Perretta today announced the 2019-20 Wildcat schedule. Villanova will play a 29-game schedule, including 18 Big East Conference contests and four Philadelphia Big Five match-ups.

The 2019-20 campaign begins with back-to-back homes games. Villanova will tip-off the season on Wednesday, Nov. 6, with a home contests versus George Washington, before playing host to James Madison on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Wildcats will then hit the road for consecutive games at American on Nov. 14 and at Fordham on Nov. 17. Â Â

After returning home to take on Manhattan on Nov. 21, Villanova is scheduled to play at Georgia on Nov. 24 and at Drexel on Dec. 4.

Philadelphia Big 5 gets underway in early December with three consecutive City Series tilts. Villanova will host Saint Joseph's on Dec. 7 and then travel to Temple on Dec. 10 and La Salle on Dec. 21. Â
The Big East Conference schedule starts on Dec. 29 with a home date versus Providence and continues on Dec. 31 against Creighton.

After the first of the year, 16 of the 17 games will be Big East Conference match-ups. The lone exception is a home game versus Penn on Jan. 15. Â For a seventh straight year, the Wildcats will play an 18-game double round-robin Big East Conference slate.
All 10 BIG EAST teams will appear on at least two nationally televised games during regular-season play across the FOX Sports family of networks, while an additional two games will be featured on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN). For the fifth straight year, the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) will air all women's basketball games during conference play that are not scheduled for a television broadcast, for a total of 75 contests.
For the seventh consecutive year, FS1 and FS2 will provide coverage of the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament, with this season's event returning to Wintrust Arena in Chicago for a third consecutive year. FS2 will air the quarterfinal round on March 7, with games set for 1, 3:30, 7 and 9:30 p.m. (ET). FS1 picks up the remainder of the tournament, with the semifinals on March 8 slated for 6 and 8:30 p.m., and the championship game set to tip off at 8 p.m. on March 9. The BIG EAST Digital Network will live stream both first round games on March 6, with tip times not yet determined.
Villanova is set to make four national television appearances this year as part of the Big East TV package. The televised games include a home game against Providence (Dec. 29; FS1) and road contests at St. John's (Jan. 5/CBS Sports Network), Butler (Feb. 9/ FS2) and Creighton (Feb 28/ FS1).
