EDISON, NJ (Jan. 7, 2020) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has released the 2020 water polo conference play schedule.
The revision and organization of the conference schedule provides the institutions and conference with flexibility in engaging with higher-quality officials.
"It's an exciting time for MAAC water polo as the league elevates the level of officiating," said Elizabeth Donohue, Chair of Water Polo Committee. "These Division I athletes practice, train and compete at a top level and are motived by playing against some of best teams in the country. Exposure to strong officiating will only increase their performance. In addition, the commitment to player safety is emphasized. It should be an all-around competitive and entertaining season!"
The 2020 Water Polo Season will be the first season for Long Island University (LIU) in the MAAC with a total of nine teams competing this season.
