VILLANOVA, Pa. - Matchups for the 2K Empire Sports Classic benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project presented by Continental Tire were announced on Monday, Nov. 9. All games will air nationally on ESPN. The Villanova games can also be heard on the new FM home of the Wildcats, 95.7 Ben FM in the Delaware Valley or via the TuneIn app.

Villanova - ranked No. 3 in the Preseason Associated Press poll - meets Boston College in the opener at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. No. 2 Baylor meets No. 18 Arizona State in the second game of the evening, also to be held at Mohegan Sun Arena. Game two begins 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game..

A doubleheader will follow on Thursday, Nov. 26, Thanksgiving night. The third place game will tip at 7 p.m. on ESPN with the championship game expected to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Former BIG EAST rivals Boston College and Villanova have met just once since the Eagles joined the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2005. That came in an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 game in March 2006. The Wildcats prevailed in overtime, 60-59, in Minneapolis and lead the all-time series 53-24. 

The Wildcats will return from Connecticut to host their first home game of 2020-21, a Philadelphia Big Five clash with Saint Joseph's on Monday, Nov. 30.
