NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced the weekly women's basketball award winners on Monday afternoon and Villanova senior forward Bridget Herlihy (Braintree, Mass.) earned a spot on the weekly Honor Roll.
 
Herlihy earns the honor for her play in Sunday's 48-40 win at Georgetown. In 39 minutes of action, she scored a game-high tying 15 points on 6-of-15 shooting to go with five rebounds, three blocks and one assists. Three of her six field goals were from three-point range.
 
After 25 games this season, Herlihy is averaging 8.5 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per contest to go with 70 assists and a team-best 44 blocked shots.
 
The Wildcats, who are 14-11 overall and 8-6 in BIG EAST play, return to action on Friday, Feb. 21, when the Marquette Golden Eagles visit the Finneran Pavilion. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
