VILLANOVA, Pa. – The BIG EAST Conference announced its 2019-20 All-Academic Team this week and the Men's Soccer saw 20 student-athletes honored in that way, a single-season program high.
In all 370, Villanova student-athletes received recognition as an Academic All-BIG EAST choice, most in the conference.
To be eligible for the honor, a nominee must have competed in a BIG EAST-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.00 for the preceding academic year, and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters of academic work, with a total of 18 semester or 27 quarter credits, not including remedial courses.

"These honors are a testament to the commitment of our guys during a period made more challenging by COVID-19," stated head coach
Tom Carlin. "They were disciplined in completing their academic work online and the results reflect that. As a coaching staff, we're proud of each one of them."
