RICHMOND, Va.—Villanova was recognized for the academic achievement of its student-athletes during the Spring semester with a league-high 52 selections to the CAA Football Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. The honorees on the Spring semester Academic Honor Roll were announced by the conference on Wednesday morning. This is the latest of several team and individual academic accolades that the Wildcats have earned.
 
Student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and been enrolled as a full-time student. There were 472 student-athletes from the 12 football schools that make up CAA Football to achieve honor roll distinction for the Spring semester. The Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll was announced once per year prior to 2018-19 when the current system of announcing an honor roll each semester was implemented. Villanova had 45 student-athletes named to the Fall semester Academic Honor Roll earlier this year.
