Baltimore, Md.- Freshman
Richard Nolan led the way winning the 200 yard breaststroke but the Villanova Wildcats fell to the Loyola Greyhounds 99-189.
Nolan came in first with a time of 2:09.60 in the 200 yard breaststroke and also came in third in the 200 yard IM.
Villanova's 400 yard freestyle relay team made up of
Kevin Geist,
Ryan Maher,
JJ Strain, and
Jesse Marsh came in second with a time of 3:13.97. The Wildcats also finished second in the 400 yard medley relay with a team underclassman in
Ethan Brown, Nolan, Geist, and Hutcherson with a time of 3:29.44.
A trio of sophomore's,
Jake McIntyre,
Reid Hutcherson, and
Kevin Geist all recorded second place finishes. McIntyre was the runner up in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 9:47.27 and Hutcherson placed second in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.79. Geist's placed second in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 51.17.
Rounding out the individual highlights from the meet were third places finished from
Nolan Danus in the 1000 yard freestyle, Maher in the 200 yard freestyle, Strain in the 100 yard breaststroke, Brown in the 100 yard backstroke, and McIntyre in the 500 yard freestyle.
The meet's 1-meter and 3-meter diving events had
Michael Ackert and
Noah Clipman as the lone men's competitors in those events with Ackert finished first in each.
