Cameron Hassert has now gone 5-for-8 with five runs plated in his last two games. The shortstop has improved his batting average to .256, leads the team in doubles (3) and is second in runs batted in (8).
Mathes to the rescue:
Cameron Mathes has been impressive in his first four appearances of the season. The graduate student has allowed just one earned run in five and 2/3 innings pitched with six strikeouts and a 1.59 ERA.
