Luke Keating was named BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week while
Brett Baskin was named to the Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
In a 15-12 comeback win over Drexel, Keating contributed to more than half of Villanova's tallies registering a game-high eight points. Keating helped Villanova jump out to an early 2-0 lead in the opening frame, dishing out a pair of early assists. After Drexel entered the locker room with a 6-4 advantage, Keating and the Villanova attack came alive in the third with a 7-1 advantage, as the native of Garden City, N.Y., registered 2 goals and 2 assists in the frame. Overall, he notched three goals and five assists in the outing.
Baskin had five points during Villanova's 15-12 victory over Drexel, registering a hat trick and two assists.
Villanova returns to action Saturday against Delaware. First faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 P.M.
