New York, N.Y.- Senior's Matt Campbell and Will Vitton earned BIG EAST Weekly Honors after helping the Wildcats defeat No. 20 Delaware on Saturday.  Campbell was named Attacker of the Week while Vitton earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Campbell had a career best day during Villanova's 18-13 win over No. 20 Delaware. The native of Madison, N.J., scored a career-high seven goals and dished out one assist in the non-conference regular season finale, totaling a career-high eight points. The senior completed a hat trick in the first quarter, before scoring a pair of goals in both the second and third quarters. Overall, he finished the outing with 14 shots and eight shots on goal.

Anchoring the defense in the Wildcats top-20 triumph on Saturday, Vitton finished the afternoon with 17 saves in the 18-13 win. Against the Blue Hens, Vitton had four saves in both the first and second quarter, before registering a game-best seven saves in the third, leading the Wildcats to a 15-10 advantage after 45 minutes.

Villanova will open BIG EAST play on Saturday when they travel to Queens, New York to take on the St. John's Red Storm.  First faceoff is scheduled for 12:30 P.M.
