EDISON, N.J. – With a combined 10-point performance in the final weekend of the season,
Kaysie Stuba has been named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Stuba has been awarded a weekly honor from the MAAC four times in her career with the latest accolade. She has been lauded twice this season, the other coming back on April 6.
The La Grange, Ill.-native scored 10 points in the final two wins of the season over La Salle and VMI, scoring seven goals on 16 attempts with three assists. She drew three exclusions. She opened the weekend with a three-point performance against La Salle, netting two goals and getting an assist while also picking up a field block. In the season-finale against VMI, Stuba had an outstanding senior day with seven points, scoring five goals on 10 shots with two assists. Two of her goals in that game came on five-meter attempts. She also tacked on two steals.
This season, Stuba has been an offensive force for the team, scoring 100 goals on 217 shots and having 51 assists for 151 points, all of those being team-highs. She now sits at the top of the program's lists in single-season goals, points and shots while sitting fourth for assists and field blocks (13).
