VILLANOVA, Penn. – Villanova Swimming and Diving opens the 2023-24 campaign on Saturday October 21
st as the women's team travels to Storrs, Conn. to face UConn. The meet will start at 10 a.m. in the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
The reigning BIG EAST Champions won their tenth consecutive title this past season and 15
th conference title in program history since 1992. The decade's worth of titles marks the second longest streak in BIG EAST women's swimming and diving history, only behind Notre Dame's 13 straight honors.
The last time Villanova and UConn met in the pool, the Wildcat's edged out the Huskies by 217.5 points to bring the conference crown back to the Main Line. Despite falling to UConn 180.5-119.5 at this meet a year ago, the Villanova swimming and diving team dominated the Huskies the previous four consecutive years.

Caroline Blankenbecler. In his 24
th season,
Rick Simpson welcomes back 17 Wildcats from last year's women's team, 10 of whom earned BIG EAST Honors, while adding 12 new faces to the fold.
