VILLANOVA, Pa.—The men's lacrosse game between No. 9/10 Villanova (5-1) and Monmouth (4-2) this Saturday at West Long Branch, N.J. has been pushed back 30 minutes to a 2:30 p.m. start to accommodate a television broadcast of the game. Details of the broadcast and timing of the contest were announced by Monmouth on Thursday afternoon in advance of the second-ever meeting between the Wildcats and the Hawks.
Saturday's game will air on linear television and can be seen on NBC Sports Philadelphia and SNY. There will still be a digital broadcast on FloSports which is accessible online and via the FloSports mobile app. Matt Harmon and Jackson Heil will call the action.
The television broadcast is timely exposure for a Villanova squad which has matched its best start to a season in five years. Head coach
Mike Corrado has the Wildcats off to a 5-1 start and a top-10 ranking in both national polls released earlier this week. Villanova owns a pair of top-15 wins on the year and has won four straight entering play against Monmouth.
