VILLANOVA, Pa. – With impending highwinds in the Quakertown, Pa. region, Saturday's race with Lehigh and Colgate has shifted to a scrimmage on the Lehigh River just outside of Allentown, Pa.
 
With the last-minute switch in courses, the scrimmage will not feature a 2K race. Instead, the teams will complete three 1500-meter pieces. The Wildcats will line up three varsity boats in the event that is set to start at 10 a.m.
 
"We are excited to test our speed tomorrow on the water," Villanova head coach Carissa Adams said.  "We feel lucky that we were included in this scrimmage with Lehigh and Colgate.  Unfortunately, we will not be completing a 2K race as the weather forced us to switch our venue last minute to move to a waterway that offers more protection from the wind.  I am proud of all of our athletes and know they will row with pride tomorrow to represent the V."
