VILLANOVA, Pa.- The Wildcats faced off with Georgetown on early Saturday morning on West Campus and fell in a 5-2 loss.
 
Villanova claimed the first team point of the match taking both No. 2 and 3 doubles. The team of Trey Fourticq and Tighe Brunetti defeated Arthur O'Sullivan and Akira Morgenstern after a hard fought 7-6 (5) battle. Justin Suarez and Ryan Nguyen took on Harry Yang and Derek Raskopf in the No. 3 spot for the 6-4 win.
 
The Wildcats struggles in singles falling in every match expect for one. Brunetti was the lone Villanova win on the day taking on Kieran Foster at No. 2 singles and coming out with the 6-4, 6-3 victory. Butler defeated Villanova 5-3 as a team.
 
The Wildcats return to action for their final match of the season tomorrow Sunday, April 16 for senior day versus Lafayette. Match time is set for 12:30 pm.
