VILLANOVA, Pa. – Villanova today announced the non-conference portion of its 2023-24 Men's Basketball schedule. The complete 2023-24 schedule, including all 20 BIG EAST matchups, is expected to be released in mid-September.

The Wildcats are set to open the 2023-24 regular season on Monday, Nov. 6 at Finneran Pavilion against American University. This will be the 12
th meeting between the two programs, a series that included a 2009 NCAA Tournament First Round matchup in Philadelphia won by the 'Cats, 80-67.

Villanova opens the Philadelphia Big Five portion of its slate on Monday, Nov. 13 at Penn. It then hosts Saint Joseph's on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Finneran Pavilion before taking part in the Philadelphia Big Five Classic, a new tripleheader featuring all six members of the alliance, on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Wells Fargo Center. Tickets for that event went on sale earlier today.

The Wildcats will be back at the Center on Saturday, Dec. 9, to renew an intersectional rivalry with UCLA in South Philadelphia. The two teams last met on Nov. 12, 2021, with the Bruins claiming an 86-77 overtime victory at Pauley Pavilion.

On Nov. 17, Villanova hosts Maryland in the Gavitt Tipoff Games. It meets Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan., on Dec. 5 in the Big East/Big 12 Battle. The Wildcats will also travel to the Bahamas to make their third appearance at the Battle 4 Atlantis, opening play on Wednesday, Nov. 22 vs. Texas Tech.
