NEW YORK – Graduate midfielder Alex Fava landed her first BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll spot this week after a three-point performance at Providence.
 
This latest accolade brings Villanova to 12 weekly nods from the league this season with her being the seventh Wildcat to be honored. The Blue and White has been listed on the honor roll 10 times now this season.
 
The Baltimore, Md. native bookended Villanova's 3-3 draw with Providence on Sunday with a goal and an assist. She put the Wildcats on the board in the 81^st minute by heading in the first goal of her Villanova career. Later in the 89^th, Fava passed ahead a short look to Susanna Soderman for the game-tying goal roughly 10 yards in front of the net.
 
Fava and Villanova have one game remaining in the regular season as they head to Butler on Thursday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
