VILLANOVA, Pa. – National Signing Day brings four new softball players to Villanova with Jacquelyn Cox, Aubrey Police, Katie Reed and Carly Zych each pledging to the Wildcats, forming a four-person signing class that will join the three-time conference champions next fall.
"We are always trying to get athletes who are ultimate competitors both on and off the field, and we are really excited about this signing class because they are passionate about the game and love to win," head coach Bridget Orchard said. "Aubrey, Carly, Jacquelyn and Katie will help us continue our success in the BIG EAST and look to bring our program to the next level nationally."

Villanova will give me a chance to explore topics that are of great interest to me, and I am grateful for the opportunity Coach Orchard has given me."
Orchard on Cox: "Jacquelyn is a multi-sport athlete, winning championships in tennis and softball. She plays with an edge and has a ton of speed, has the ability to get on base in multiple ways and is always a threat on the basepaths. She will bring athleticism, power and speed to the team."
