VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova Men's Lacrosse signed 10 new members to its Class of 2029, coach Mike Corrado announced Wednesday. This squad will join the 'Cats on the field in Villanova Stadium for the spring 2026 season.

The Wildcats are coming off of a 9-7 season where they reached the finals of the BIG EAST tournament. Villanova has appeared in all BIG EAST tournaments since the inception of the conference's Men's Lacrosse tournament in 2012, the only program to do so.

The signing class consists of four attackmen, three defensemen, a short stick defensive midfielder, a face-off specialist, and a goalie.

"The coaching staff is very excited to have this group join the Villanova Men's Lacrosse family," Corrado said. "We were able to secure some great guys for this class, both in the classroom and on the field, and we can't wait for them to arrive on campus!"

Michael Berkery | SSDM | Garden City, N.Y.
Garden City High School: Played lacrosse and football… Earned All-Long Island and All-State honors in football… Member of National Honor Society… Achieved Principal's List all four years.

Personal: Son of John and Kathleen… Has four siblings: Brian, Grace, Kate, and John Patrick… Plans to major in business. 

Kessy Cox | Attack | Radnor, Pa.
Radnor High School: Totaled seven varsity letters between lacrosse, soccer, and basketball… Three-time Pennsylvania lacrosse state champion… Led county in points as a junior with 120… Named First Team All-League in 2024… Earned Second Team All-League in basketball for 2023-24… Member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of David and Kristine Cox… Has two siblings, Drew and Cate… Father, David, played lacrosse at Maryland and Syracuse…  Chose Villanova "because of the rigorous academic opportunities, the athletic programs, and the staff and students and community of Villanova as a whole." Plans to major in business.

Reid Chisholm | Defense | West Chester, Pa.
Club Lacrosse: Competed for Team Ten for five years.

Malvern Prep: Played two years of varsity lacrosse.

Personal: Son of Scott and Ali Chisholm... Has two brothers, Grant and Trent… Father, Scott, played lacrosse at Villanova and is a member of the Varsity Club Hall of Fame… Chose Villanova for "the academics and the campus…" Plans to major in business.

Parker Harms | Defense/LSM | Brielle, N.J.
Manasquan High School: Earned Second Team All-State, First Team All-Group, All-Shore Conference, and All-Division honors in 2024.

Personal: Son of Carolyn and Kevin Harms… Father played lacrosse at Washington College… Mother played lacrosse and field hockey at Washington College… Has three sisters, Logan, Jenna, and Paige, who all played lacrosse at High Point… Member of Mad Dog National Club Lacrosse since 2017… Chose Villanova "because of the prestigious academic and amazing athletic opportunities as well as the immediate connection I felt with the coaches and the team."

Tucker Hess | Attack | Rye, N.Y.
Rye High School: Earned four varsity letters between lacrosse and football… Received All-Section honors in lacrosse as a junior… Named All-County in lacrosse his first three years.

Personal: Son of Jon and Sara Hess… Has two siblings, Remy and Casey… Father, Jon, played lacrosse at Princeton and professionally in the NLL and MLL… Mother, Sara, played soccer at UConn and professionally in the WUSA and for the USWNT… Chose Villanova because "the coaches were incredibly nice and welcoming to me, and seeing the bonds they shared with their players at the time made me feel like it was something I wanted to be a part of… I took a strong liking to the campus and have heard so many great things about the culture from alumni, making [this] feel like the place I should be."

Nate Macpherson | Defense | Pittsford, N.Y.
Loomis Chaffee School: Has earned six combined varsity letters through lacrosse and alpine skiing … Earned First Team All-NEPSAC as a junior.

Personal: Son of Mark and Jennifer Macpherson… Has one sibling, Colin… Chose Villanova because "the combination of excellent academics, strong athletics and faith made VU an easy choice for me."

Lachlan Moffatt | Attack | Plymouth, Mich.
Detroit Central Catholic: Tallied three varsity letters in lacrosse… Named a 2024 USA Lacrosse All-American… Has earned First Team All-Catholic and All-State honors… Nominated as a team captain for the Shamrocks… Accumulated 285 points over three years of competition… Recorded 17 points in a game tallying eight goals and nine assists… Member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Christopher and Allison Moffatt… Has two siblings, Maggie and Gavin… Chose Villanova "because it's academically rigorous and athletically competitive." Plans to major in finance.

Ryan O'Connor | FO/Midfield | Moorestown, N.J.
Moorestown High School: Has played midfield and taken faceoffs throughout his three seasons as a Quaker… Earned First Team All-Olympic Conference and Third Team All-Group 3… Helped his team to a state championship in 2024… Also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Amy O'Connor… Has a brother, Tommy.

Nolan Sabel | Attack/Midfield | New Providence, N.J.
Seton Hall Prep: Played three years of varsity lacrosse… Earned Second Team All-State and First Team All-County honors in 2024… Recorded 78 points and ranks second all-time in program history in points through three seasons.

Personal: Son of Tammy and Oleg Sabel… Has three siblings: Derek, Noelle, and Roxanne… Chose Villanova "because the community felt like home. The coaches and players were super welcoming, and it felt like home the minute I saw the campus. The campus is beautiful, and the balance of high academics and high-level lacrosse was the perfect fit for me."

Drew Walendowski | Goalie | East Islip, N.Y.
Club Lacrosse: Played eight years for Legacy Lacrosse club… Named a New Balance Underclass All-American and Under Armour Underclass All-American.

East Islip High School: Earned six varsity letters between lacrosse, football, and track and field… Named First Team New York State Class B as a junior… Earned All-County honors as a sophomore and junior… Holds a 62% career save percentage with 404 saves through three seasons.

Personal: Son of Alfred and Tabitha Walendowski… Has two siblings, Jake and Avery… Father, Alfred, played baseball at Ithaca College…. Chose Villanova because "I love the lacrosse program and I'm super excited about all of the opportunities available to me being a student-athlete…" Plans to major in business.
