VILLANOVA, Pa. – One event remains on the Villanova Rowing fall slate as the Wildcats head to Shamokin Dam, Pa. on Sunday for the Bucknell Invitational on the Susquehanna River.
 
Villanova looks to build off its strong fall debut at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta to close out October. That day, the 'Cats logged five top-20 finishes in the best outing at the event in head coach Carissa Adams' tenure, two of those showings being fourth-place finishes for the Championship Four and Eights.
 
Sunday marks the second consecutive year that Villanova is racing in the fall event hosted by Bucknell. This year, Villanova will send out six lineups throughout the day with the Varsity 8s, Second Varsity 8 and Varsity Four boats each taking on Lehigh in 3 x 1K pieces starting at 10 a.m. The three Novice Eight races will feature a slew of walk-on Wildcats competing against Susquehanna, Bucknell D and Bucknell B boat starting at approximately 11 a.m.
