LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – Villanova falls in Los Angeles 6-2 in game two of their series against Loyola Marymount.
 
Loyola Marymount scored the first six runs of the game before Villanova got on the board in the eighth. Villanova's comeback would be short lived as the pitching for the Lions continued to dominate the game.

  • Rian Schwede pitched for the third time this season. Schwede has recorded five strikeouts in all three appearances.
  • AJ Hansen recorded two hits on four at bats. He has a hit in three of the last four games.

  • A Jack O'Reilly doubled and wild pitch scored Trent Toole and Jason Neff in the eighth, 6-2.
