VILLANOVA, Pa. -- For the second straight week, Villanova softball's midweek bout against a Big 5 opponent has been postponed due to expected inclement weather. 

After last week's matchup at Drexel was rained out following just two outs, this week's Wednesday contest at Pennsylvania is being pushed back three weeks with heavy rain in the forecast.

Originally scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, the Wildcats and Quakers will now square off on Wednesday, April 24 at 4 p.m. from Penn Park.

In addition, next Wednesday's game against the Delaware Blue Hens has been moved to Tuesday afternoon instead, still scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the Villanova Softball Complex.

The 'Cats will be back in action this Friday, resuming BIG EAST play with a trip to Omaha for a three-game series against the Creighton Bluejays.
