WASHINGTON D.C.— Villanova fell in their last BIG EAST match of the regular season. The team was on the road in Washington, DC to take on Georgetown where they fell 7-0.
Doubles
In the one spot, William Monahan and
Justin Frattarelli fell in a tiebreaker to Kieran Foster and Zamaan Moledina, 7-6 (7-4).
In the second spot,
Josh Robinson and
Cooper Gordon were defeated 6-3 to Jake Fellows and Arthur O'Sullivan.
Senior duo of
Noah Winton and
Eitan Khromchenko picked up the victory in the final spot, 7-5 over Burke Pablo and Adhvyte Sharma.
Singles
Josh Robinson took on the one spot for Villanova and was defeated by Fellows in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
Will Monahan went against Moledina in the second spot. Moledina won the match, 6-2, 6-0.
In the third spot,
Eitan Khromchenko competed in a back in forth first set against O'Sullivan.
After falling in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-9), Khromchenko fell in the second set 6-0.
Thomas Wakefield was defeated 6-2, 6-3 by Foster in the fourth singles spot.
Freshman
Cooper Gordon lost his singles match to Sharma, 6-2, 6-2.
In the final spot,
Ryan Nguyen dropped his match to Derek Raskopf, 6-1, 6-3.
