VILLANOVA, PA. – Villanova University head women's basketball coach
Denise Dillon today announced the team's 2024-25 nonconference schedule. The Wildcats will play 12 nonconference contests this season, including three games in the Battle for Atlantis Tournament and three Philadelphia Big 5 games.
The season tips-off at home against Wake Forst on Sunday, Nov. 10. Following a road game at Princeton on Nov. 13, the Wildcats will host Columbia (Nov. 16) and Penn (Nov. 20) to conclude a stretch of three straight games versus Ivy League competition.
Villanova will travel to the Bahamas from Nov. 23-25 to participate in the Battle for Atlantis Tournament. Opponents and game times will be announced at a later date.
On Dec. 6, Villanova will host the Philadelphia Big 5 Women's Classic tripleheader with the game pairings to be determined by the regular season results.
The Wildcats will play two of their final three non conference games on the road beginning with a trip to Fairfield on Dec. 8. After playing at Delaware on Dec. 11, Villanova closes out the non conference portion of its schedule with a home game against James Madison on Dec. 15.
Villanova is coming off a 2023-24 season where they went 22-13 overall and 11-7 in BIG EAST play. The Wildcats earned a bid to the WBIT where they advanced to the championship game.
