VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Villanova women's swimming and diving team opens its 2025-26 season on the road this week, visiting Seton Hall and UConn for back-to-back meets.

The Wildcats begin the season on Thursday, Oct. 17, at Seton Hall. Diving is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., followed by swimming events at 5 p.m. This marks the first head-to-head matchup between the Wildcats and Pirates since March 7, 2021, when Villanova earned a 151-108 victory.

The teams most recently faced off at the BIG EAST Championships in February, where the Villanova women won their 12th consecutive conference title, scoring 1,588 points over four days of competition.

On Friday, Oct. 18, the Wildcats will travel to Storrs, Connecticut, to take on UConn. In last season's matchup, Villanova recorded a 172-128 win over the Huskies, highlighted by 26 top three finishes, including 10 first-place performances.
