Dickinson Lands Third BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Nod of Season

NEW YORK – Villanova goalkeeper Hannah Dickinson landed a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

This is the third time this season that the netminder has been on the list bringing her career total to six mentions.

This past week, the Seattle, Wash. native reset her career high for saves with 15 at No. 12 Georgetown. She anchored a Villanova backline that held the Hoyas without a first half goal for the first time in BIG EAST action this season. All told, Dickinson accounted for 19 saves over two games, allowing just three goals in the 52 shots she faced, playing in all 180 minutes between the posts.

With one game remaining in the regular season, Dickinson's career goals against average as a Wildcat sits at 1.14, putting her at fifth in program history. She has been the keeper of record in every match for the 'Cats this year, holding a 9-8 record with seven solo shutouts. She is second in the league for shutouts and 41st nationally.

Dickinson and the 'Cats host Butler on Saturday for the regular season finale with their postseason destiny on the line. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
