VILLANOVA, Pa., - A new season of the program which takes viewers behind the scenes with the Wildcats, "Inside Villanova Basketball presented by Toyota", returns with a new season this Friday night at 6:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
 
The show will also be rebroadcast over the course of the upcoming weekend ahead of the Wildcats' 2025-26 regular season opener vs. No. 8 BYU in the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas at 9:30 p.m. Monday evening.
 
This is the 25^th anniversary of "inside Villanova Basketball" in its current form. It debuted in 2001-02 as the program's new head coach at the time, Jay Wright, reconfigured what had existed as a traditional "coaches show", with game highlights and analysis from the head coach.
 
As the Wildcats enter a new era under William B. Finneran Endowed Head Coach Kevin Willard, the show will include some new features. Villanova's in-game arena host James Jackson will appear on camera. His conversation with returning Wildcats Tyler Perkins and Matt Hodge is a highlight of the premiere episode.
 
Willard takes viewers inside with a film breakdown of some concepts the team will use in the new campaign.
