Villanova Men Host Rider for Midweek Meet

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Following a dominant 187-73 victory over Providence, the Villanova men's swimming and diving team returns home to host Rider University at the Villanova Swim Complex on Nov. 12. Diving is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., with swimming events to follow at 6:00 p.m.

Last season, the Wildcats defeated Rider 152-146, posting 7 first-place finishes and 23 top three finishes.

Owen Nye led the Wildcats with two wins, claiming first in the 1000 Free (9:29.64) and the 500 Free (4:40.48). Justin Nowicki secured a victory in the 200 Fly with a time of 1:48.73, while Max Christensen earned the top spot in the 200 IM, finishing in 1:52.91.
