ALEXIS EBERZ OFFICIALLY SIGNS WITH VILLANOVA

She Is The Third Member Of Her Family To Play At Villanova

VILLANOVA, PA. -- Villanova University head women's basketball coach Denise Dillon today announced the signing of Alexis Eberz to a National Letter of Intent. Eberz will enroll at Villanova in the fall of 2026 and will be a member of the 2026-27 Wildcat roster.

"We are thrilled to welcome Alexis Eberz to the Villanova family," said Dillon. "Alexis is a high-IQ player who understands the game at an advanced level. She's a strong shooter who can stretch the floor, and her passing ability makes everyone around her better. We're excited to see how she continues to grow and contribute to our program."

A native of Havertown, Pa., Eberz is currently in her senior season at Archbishop Carroll High School. As a junior last year, Eberz averaged 17.6 points per game and earned first team All-State honors, in addition to being named first team All-Philadelphia Catholic League and first team All-Delaware County.  She also scored her 1,000th career point during her junior season. Eberz played her AAU basketball with the Comets.

Eberz will be the third member of her family to play basketball at Villanova. Her father, Eric, played for the Wildcats from 1992-96, while her mother, Michele, was a member of the Villanova women's basketball team from 1991-95. Both parents are members of the Villanova Varsity Club Hall of Fame.
