PRINCETON, N.J. – Villanova raced in its penultimate event of the fall slate on Sunday with the V8 finishing in the top half of an impressive Women's Open 8+ field at the Princeton Chase.

"Once again, I am feeling very proud of the athletes in our program," head coach
Carissa Adams said. "Their strong performance demonstrates that they are resilient and can overcome any hardship thrown at them. The student-athletes trust me and my vision and today we took another step forward in our up-leveling process. Both boats finished exactly where we needed them to amongst a field of 63, many of which are top 20 programs. Based on their performance, they can go into our next phase of training with confidence and feel motivated for our spring campaign."
