VILLANOVA, Pa. – One event remains this fall for Villanova Rowing as it heads to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on Saturday for the Marist Fall Scrimmage.
 
The Wildcats have turned in impressive showings throughout their fall season. Their last time on the water was Sunday in the Princeton Chase where two boats raced in an Open 8+ field that featured a slew of teams that finished the 2024-25 campaign in the CRCA/Pocock National Rankings.
 
Saturday will bring a morning with multiple pieces against Marist and Fairfield. The 'Cats have not seen Marist in either of the first two regattas this season, but did cross paths with Fairfield in the season-opener at the Head of the Schuylkill. The teams raced against each other in the Frosh/Novice Fours, Championship Fours, Club Championship Eights and Championship Eights with the Blue and White boats finishing ahead of the Stags in each of those events.
