VILLANOVA, PA. – A pair of Villanova guards underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on their right knee this week.

Freshman
Chris Jeffrey, who has averaged 10.5 minutes per contest while appearing in nine games thus far in 2025-26, underwent surgery on Friday to address an injury sustained prior to his arrival at Villanova that recently flared up. The Brooklyn, N.Y., native averages 4.2 points and 1.4 rebound per contest.

Senior guard
Wade Chiddick has been sidelined since mid-November. On Wednesday, he underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He notched his first career point on Nov. 11 vs. Sacred Heart and has not appeared in a game since that point.

Both surgeries were conducted by Villanova Team Surgeon, Dr. William Emper.

There is no timetable for a return to basketball activities for either player.
