WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Another career accolade for
Ava Borkowski as the Villanova forward was named to the Academic All-Area team announced Monday (Dec.8). For the second straight season.
Borkowski adds another award to an amazing 2025 season. She earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors and was named second-team All-Mid-Atlantic Region by the NFHCA at tallying nine goals and 18 points on the year. Her biggest accolade of the season came from being named BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the Year after leading the 'Cats to the BIG EAST tournament.
The Conshohocken, Pa., native is working towards a Master of Public Administration.
Villanova now has 11 players in program history that have been named Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area.
