NEW YORK – Villanova Women's lacrosse Leslie Iorio has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
 
The California native scored two goals in her college debut against Binghamton. The freshman also grabbed 3 draw controls helping her achieve this award.
 
 Senior Sami Carey earned Honor Roll with her 11 points and 5 goals in the teams opening season game. Emma Verhoest joins Carey on Honor Roll due to her 10 draw controls.
