NEW YORK - Villanova women's lacrosse earned for BIG EAST Weekl Honor Rolls after their win over then #25 UConn.

BIG EAST Attacker of the Week goes to Elena Torres who was the lead goal scorer, racking in four goals in the first half. Three goals were off of free positions, she also picked up two ground balls.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week was earned by goalie Cate Gallagher. She had a season-high of 12 saves and a 63.2% save percentage over the Huskies. UConn was unable to find the back of the net for the entirety of the second quarter.

Madison Freeman is BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. the Philadelphia native had a goal and ground ball in Saturday's game.

Sophia Corretjer earned Weekly Honor Roll for her three goals and ground ball over UConn.
