VILLANOVA, PA- After a strong conference slate for Villanova women's lacrosse, the Wildcats have Qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament hosted at the Villanova Stadium this week.

The 'Cats will face Connecticut in the second semifinals on Thursday afternoon, squaring off against the Huskies at 4:00 pm on the Main Line.

It is the first time Villanova has ever been the second seed in the conference tournament, following up a 4-2 record in league play this year.

The winner of Thursday's semifinal will compete in the championship game on Saturday evening, facing the victor of Thursday's semifinals between Denver and Georgetown.
