For the 15th straight year, Villanova volleyball is the recipient of an AVCA academic accolade as the 'Cats picked up a 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award Sponsored by INTENT on Monday afternoon.

It's the 19th time since 2001 that the Wildcats have showcased their academic prowess with this laurel, earning the award by maintaining a year-long GPA above a 3.3. 

Villanova is one of under 30 Division I programs in the nation with that many awards all-time, and one of just 18 with a 15-year win streak.

The 'Cats were part of a record-setting 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams to earn the honor, the most programs to ever deserve the award.
