LONG BEACH, Calif. – For the first time in her career, Villanova midfielder
Gabby Koluch has been recognized by TopDrawerSoccer as a member of the Team of the Week, earning Honorable Mention status on Tuesday morning.
The junior is the first Wildcat to land on the weekly ledger from the organization this season. The last to land the honor was
Myla McLeod back on October 22, 2024.
Koluch scored the game-winner in Saturday's 1-0 win over Seton Hall to open the BIG EAST slate. The Freehold, N.J. native hit a beautiful free kick into the upper 90 in the 27
th minute for her first goal of the season. She landed two of her three shots in the win on frame, playing in all 90 minutes of action.
The Wildcats are back at home on Wednesday as they host Creighton. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. from Higgins Soccer Complex.
