NEW YORK – For a second consecutive week,
Hannah Curtin has landed a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league's office on Monday.
She is the first Wildcat to earn back-to-back honors from the conference since
Olivia Neal did so in late September last season. Her latest honor brings Villanova to three weekly honors this season.
The graduate forward has been on a scoring tear as of late, netting both game-winning goals in the last two games. Her goal in the 15
th minute to open the scoring floodgates for the 'Cats in their 4-0 win over Lehigh marked her team-high third goal of the season, all three coming in the last four games. Her three game-winning goals this season are a conference-best and put her in a tie for sixth nationally.
Curtin and the 'Cats hit the road this week for a pair of games before starting BIG EAST play next week. They visit Princeton and Thursday before closing out the non-conference schedule at Penn on Sunday.
