VESTAL, N.Y. - Villanova women's lacrosse opens a three-game road swing Saturday with a trip to Binghamton. First draw is set for 12 p.m. at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
The Wildcats (2-2) fell 15-12 to Rutgers on Saturday. Mary Moore paced the offense with five points on four goals and an assist, while Jillian Vaught added a hat trick in the contest. Allie Bell also saw her first career minutes in goal, making four saves in three quarters of play.
Binghamton (2-3) is coming off of an 11-10 overtime loss to Le Moyne College Wednesday afternoon.
In the lone meeting between the two programs, Villanova rolled to a 20-4 win over the Bearcats on Feb. 8, 2025, at Villanova Stadium. Vaught netted four goals, while Rose Christie, Madison Freeman, Lizzy Giordano and Leslie Iorio each scored twice during the contest.
