NEW YORK - Four Villanova women's lacrosse players earned BIG EAST honors following the Wildcats' 9-8 victory over No. 2 Stanford on Saturday. Mary Moore was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week, Allie Bell earned Freshman of the Week, and Katie Clark and Ashlyn Hickey were recognized on the BIG EAST Honor Roll.

Hickey scored two goals in the win, bringing her season totals to seven points (five goals, two assists) and five ground balls.  Moore added three goals, an assist, and three ground balls, now leading the team with 19 goals and 29 points this season.

Clark recorded a team-high three caused turnovers and a ground ball, bringing her season totals to 20 caused turnovers and 15 ground balls. In goal, freshman Allie Bell set a career high with nine saves and also picked up a ground ball. The performance brings her season total to 22 saves and marks her second consecutive start.

The Wildcats hit the road for a pair of BIG EAST matchups, taking on UConn on April 1 at 3 p.m. before traveling to Marquette on April 4 at 1 p.m ET.
