VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova women's lacrosse (8-5, 2-2 BIG EAST) will host No. 25 Georgetown on Saturday for the final home conference game of the season. First draw is set for 11 a.m. at Villanova Stadium.
The Wildcats dropped a 14-5 decision to No. 20 Denver on Saturday afternoon. Mary Moore led the Wildcats with two goals, two assists, a ground ball and a caused turnover.
The Hoyas (10-4, 4-0 BIG EAST) enter the matchup off an 18-6 win at Butler on Saturday and remain undefeated in conference play.
Villanova trails 4-22 in the all-time series against Georgetown. The programs first met in 1991, and in last season's matchup, the Hoyas earned a 13-9 victory.
The matchup against Georgetown marks the Wildcats' fifth game against a ranked opponent this season, joining previous contests against Navy, Stony Brook, Stanford, and Denver.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+, with live stats available on StatBroadcast.
