Men’s 4x400 Meter Relay Finishes Third in College Section Final to Close out 2026 Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Villanova finished third in the college section final of the men's 4x400 meter relay on Saturday evening to close out a fun and successful three days of competition at the 2026 Penn Relays, celebrating with America250. The team of freshman Andy Geiser (Aldie, Va.), sophomore Liam Gluck (Beavercreek, Ohio), senior Jimmy Milgie (Wildwood, Mo.) and junior Ethan Walls (Ridgefield, Conn.) posted a time of 3:15.06 in the Wildcats last race of the weekend.
 
In the second half of the race, splits of 48.27 and 47.87 by Milgie and Walls helped Villanova gain three spots in the standings and surge into a top three finish out of eight teams in the college final. The team qualified for this section after running 3:13.47 in the preliminary heats late Friday night. Milgie anchored that race in 48.33, while Geiser and Gluck reprised their roles as the first two legs in the lineup on Saturday. The Wildcats finished more than a second ahead of fourth place Morgan State.
