VILLANOVA, Pa. – Villanova Athletics has announced new hires to its Ticket Sales & Service staff, having moved all outbound ticket sales initiatives in house after previously being outsourced to a third-party company (Legends).
"We're really excited to add such an energetic, hard-working group to oversee our ticket sales and service efforts," Deputy AD/Chief Revenue Officer Scott Walcoff said. "Whether it's a Villanova fan, alum or simply a family looking for something fun to do together, our staff will be reaching out to as many people and groups as possible to experience Villanova sporting events while delivering excellent customer service."

Bob Capewell
Associate AD/Ticket Sales & Service
Capewell will lead the ticket sales and service group, bringing 25 years of experience in the sports industry. He has led ticket sales departments at Temple University as well as the Philadelphia 76ers and Comcast-Spectacor Group Sales departments, where his teams set organizational records at every stop. Capewell has also led business development for several companies specializing in sports and entertainment technology. Most recently, Capewell secured over 150 new collegiate partnerships with startup ticketing software company vivenu, and he has worked in similar roles with data analytics companies such as Turnkey Intelligence, SSB and FanManager.
Samantha Del Regno
Director, Ticket Sales Marketing
Del Regno will direct digital ticket sales marketing efforts, joining Villanova after serving as marketing manager for the Buffalo Bills' new stadium project. A native of Buffalo, Del Regno brings a strong background in revenue generation.
Brooke Bowen
Ticket Sales Account Representative
Bowen will remain at Villanova, previously spending two years on campus as a Ticketing and Fundraising Specialist for Legends.
Matt Makoid
Ticket Sales Account Representative
A native of Fort Washington and a Temple graduate, Makoid returns to the Main Line after leading group sales initiatives at VCU, where group sales saw a 17 percent increase year over year.
Olivia Raber
Ticket Sales Account Representative
Raber, also a Temple graduate, has worked for three different Philadelphia-area organizations, most recently spending time in inside sales with the Phillies after internships with the Flyers and Union.
Raphael Worotikan
Graphics Coordinator
Worotikan will also remain at Villanova, previously spending four years on campus as a Ticket Sales Graphics Coordinator for Legends.
Kevin Ahern will remain the Associate AD for Villanova's Ticket Operations, and Eryn Schultz stays on staff as the Assistant Director in that area as well.
"Kevin and Eryn bring significant leadership and knowledge of our fan base to the operations side of our ticket office," Walcoff said. "I'm looking forward to them working with Bob and his staff to maximize revenue and attendance at our games."
